Physics Department of Government Degree College for Women, Madanapalle, was established in 2003 with the introduction of Physics papers to MPCS and MPC groups. The Department has been striving hard from its inspection to keep the topics of physics easy and interesting to the students. The department offers physics subjects for six semesters of B.Sc M.P.Cs and MPC. The CBCS was introduced and followed by the department. In 2021, the Electronics department was introduced in the college as a sister department to the physics department.
