Vision:

•   The Department of English aims at transforming the students into rational human beings with an inquisitive and argumentative bent of mind through literary, theoretical, and linguistic teaching.
•   To give students a sense of themselves as citizens of a larger community by encouraging participation in service learning and in diverse and international coursework and programming.
•   The mainstay of the vision of the Department of English is to offer students adequate communication skills to prepare them for their professional needs in the globalized scenario prevalent today.
